The shower curtain rail straight - sloping wall bracket - stainless steel is suitable as a shower rail in bathrooms with sloping walls or ceilings. As one side of the shower curtain rail is fitted with a flexible wall bracket, this shower curtain rail is also suitable as a solution for a sloping roof with a shower. If the flexible wall bracket is mounted rotated by 90°, the shower rail with sloping wall bracket can also be attached to the flat side, e.g. a window reveal. The shower curtain rail straight, with angled wall bracket allows the shower curtain to be hung in many positions.

The number of shower curtain hooks required depends on the intended shower curtain width and is therefore not included in the scope of delivery. All shower curtain fixing rings work with this rod. Particularly recommended is the HKD12 made of stainless steel, or the Shower Curtain Ring Ringo. The Shower Curtain Ring Roller is not recommended as it turns upside down with thin shower curtain rods.

If it is not possible for you to determine the exact length of the shower rail, we recommend that you specify a slightly longer length and shorten the shower rail on site. With the shower curtain rail that can be shortened on site, the shower curtain rail can easily be fixed at a height where a standard length shower curtain can be used. We recommend adapting the shower curtain rail to the shower curtain rather than adapting expensive custom-made shower curtains to the shower curtain rail in the long run.

The correct height of a shower curtain rail for a bath and walk-in shower

Make sure that the shower curtain does not hang too obliquely and too deeply into the bathtub. A pronounced slant in the bathtub can be deducted from the width of the shower curtain. For shower curtain rails for bathtubs, it is sufficient if the shower curtain hangs 15-20cm into the bathtub, i.e. for a shower curtain with a height/length of 180cm, the distance between the top edge of the bathtub and the shower curtain rail should not be more than 165-168cm. Similarly, for shower curtains with a height/length of 200cm, the distance between the top of the bath and the shower curtain rail should be 185-188cm. In the case of walk-in showers that are level with the floor, the shower curtain rail should hang 204cm above the floor.

Note: Due to the flexible wall bracket, an exact determination of the shower rod length is only possible beforehand with an exact sketch. We recommend determining the length of the rod on site and shortening the shower rod with a hacksaw or flex.

Further shower curtain rod options

Fixing the shower curtain rail without drilling and leaving holes; The wall bracket of the shower curtain rail straight - inclined wall bracket - can be glued to load-bearing materials such as tiles and glass with the additionally available TESA -never drill again - adhesive adapter without drilling and leaving holes. When mounting the shower rod, please bear in mind that the adhesive plates will still have some adhesive effect. On site, a hacksaw or flex can be used to adjust one side of the shower rail to the required dimension.

Polished surface; the shower curtain rail is polished by hand to a matt finish after production or, on request, to a high-gloss finish. For the hand-polished shower curtain rail, an additional time expenditure must be reckoned with. The prices for polishing are approximate. The exact costs and the time required should be requested on a daily basis. The highly polished stainless steel surface of the shower curtain rail geraade - ceiling mounting only - stainless steel is a custom-made product and cannot be exchanged.
