Basics for your planning for the customization of an individual shower curtain:

The shower curtain lasts longer if it is not in the water and hangs dry and free after showering. For the drapery and the clean end to the wall, additional material of the required width should be planned. For our fabrics, we count on a 15cm addition for a clean finish to the wall or between two curtains.

Sample calculation: With a 2m long shower curtain rod, which connects to the wall on two sides, the shower curtain should be 230cm wide. If two shower curtains are used, they should have a total width of 260cm. This can also be done by combining shower curtains of different widths, e.g. 120 and 140cm.

If you are measuring up for a wetroom, make sure that your curtain stops 1-2 centimetre above the floor so that the shower curtain is able to dry in order to prevent mould build up. Measuring up for a bathtube, measure from the bottom of your existing curtain hook down into around 15cm from the top edge of the bathtube. This is so you cannot trip on the curtain and it is able to dry. A little space above the shower curtain rail improves circulation, drying and ultimately the durability of your shower curtain.

Basically a textile shower curtain is available in all colors of the rainbow. However, each customer has a different taste. A white shower curtain, on the other hand, is timeless, fits most of the colors used in the bathroom and is available in different qualities. There are rarely many interested parties for colored fabrics in a manageable time. Accordingly, colored shower curtain fabrics are rarely in stock. Especially if only a very small amount of fabric is required for a single shower curtain, the price of the finished shower curtain quickly reaches the pain threshold. Please note that there is no right of withdrawal for goods that are made to customer specifications or are clearly tailored to personal needs.

With larger purchase quantities, the effort and the price are reduced again.
